How does your garden grow?

While I was in Washington for a month, Randy planted our garden with the help of his sister Rochelle. We had the fence built before I left. Now I am excited about gardening because I will no longer be feeding the deer and elk. bon appetit

Wow, Pat. I can't believe you posted. The garden looks amazing. Great pics of Ethan and Brad. Can't wait to see you in less than 2 weeks, now!

Man Ethan looks so much older! Great pics of everyone. You didn't have any of Melissa though! I can't believe your garden is already so full. It seems like not that long ago that Dad and Rochelle were planting. Anyway, we are excited to see you guys!

Wow is right! The squash are humongous and the tomatoes are six feet tall. Randy always has to show me up!

The secret to a good garden is lots and lots of poop! I hauled goat poop, horse poop and tilled in a bunch of leaves. The area was a mess. I tilled the garden 5 or more times. Then I shanghaied Rochelle into helping me plant. We planted, and planted and planted. Wore us both out. I couldn't have done it without her!
Kathy's husband Mike Thornhill built that beautiful fence with help from my friend Dan Mclaren.
