Guess who's coming to dinner???

I looked out the back door the other day and there they were just in time for Thanksgiving. The dog came running, payed no attention to them he just wanted to come inside. Have a great Thanks giving. We will, there will be about 20 - 25 of us.

The elk came to visit

A week ago I looked out the window and saw the elk migrating to our neighbors pasture. I hadn't seen them in quite a while and figured that a glance was all I was going to see, then about an hour latter I looked up and they were standing in our yard eating grass and various vegetation. I got my camera out and did the army crawl to the window and captured this big guy. I think he is the biggest elk I've seen yet he had quite a harem. There were a few teenage bulls also and a baby.They hung out for about 40 min. until someone drove up our driveway and our viscous dog decided to play watch dog and chased them off proving how useful he is ha ha.

Hi everyone

This is my second attempt at entering a new blog.
As you can see I,m playing with the font. So I am typing on the lap top and trying to grab the phone that's sitting next to me because I keep thinking it is the mouse. I still haven't entered the world of posting pictures. But have no fear I will graduate to that some day soon.Randy just came home from going out with the missionaries. He came in all excited saying he just met a real live hero from the book Black Hawk Down. He can't wait to share this little tid bit with Greg who also read the book. The hero is Daniel Trippel he was in the Battle of Mogadishu.for anyone who may have read the book. He said when the book was written they couldn't find him to interview him.. Now for the real test will I be able to post this????? Of course I will your're reading it are"nt you? Well are"nt you? Pat :)

Hi everyone,

I have spent an hour reading everyone blogs and couldn't figure out why I could not find mine till I realized what to do......hello. I still haven't learned to post pictures yet but that will come. I am also typing on the lap top and I keep reaching for the phone beside me thinking it is the mouse. I'm stuck in the ice age. But I will make a break through soon no matter what my kids may think. Shannon and I when to church Molly and Dominic. Dominic is so cute, he kept watching the baby sitting behind us. Then he started getting loud and I thought he was fussing but Molly got up with him and had a big grin on his face. Well this was my first solo, without Shannon holding my hand so untill next time over and out. Pat

Shannon and I are having a sleep over pajama party (except shannon is anti-pajama), she is bound and determined to get me blogging even if it is 12:30 and we have to get up early to go to the Temple.
